No adoptions will be done in the 30 minutes before closing.

Adoption fees for dogs is $65, and for cats or kittens is $50. This cost includes spaying or neutering, first set of shots, worming, and a rabies shot (if the animal is old enough).

To help sick, aggressive or injured animals, call the Kanawha-Charleston Animal Shelter during business hours at 342-1576. (After hours, call the emergency number at 347-0800. They will contact you and take appropriate action.)

The price for dogs is $40 and the price for cats is $35, which includes sterilization. If the animal has not already been sterilized, there is a separate deposit required of $50, which will be returned to you upon proof of confirmation of the sterilization.
